As a tourist destination in West Java, Cirebon is not as popular as Bandung. Though the city of Cirebon save a lot of charm ranging from historical tours royal glory of Islam, culinary tours, tours to batik and center of rattan.
Cirebon has 4 palace at once in the city, namely Kasepuhan Palace, Palace Kanoman, Kacirebonan Palace and Keprabon Palace. All of them have architectural elements which are associations of culture of Islam, China, and Netherland. Palace building is always facing north and there is a Mosque nearby. Each palace has a square as a meeting place, market and sculpture tiger in the park or page forward as a symbol of King Siliwangi, the central figure formation of the kingdom of Cirebon.
Another feature is the porcelain plate from China which is decorating the walls. Some dishesd supposedly obtained from the European at the time Cirebon became a port center of trade island of Java.
In addition, the city is also famous with a garden known as the Sunyaragi Water Park. This beautiful park is fully equipped with the drainage water technology that is very sophisticated in that time. In the past, water was flowing between the terraces where the daughters of the king were primping, grass yard where the knights to practice, plus the tower and the special room which the door was made from water curtain.
In addition, there are also other places of historical relics such as the Great Mosque Sang Cipta Rasa, ancient temple, Tomb of Sunan Gunung Jati and protection home of Linggarjati.
